Self care for attractive hands |
You can cover your face with makeup and your body with clothes but there aren’t many ways to cover up your hands. Even if you are dressed in perfect, trendy outfit it would be a shame if your hands are dry and rough with wrinkles. So let’s find out simple easy ways to care for your hands at home. |

Step 1. Beautiful nails start from shaping! |
You can do this straight away if your nails are bare, or if they are colored remove nail polish using a gentle remover. |
For healthier nails it is best to remove old nail polish every 3-4 days. When filing nails go one way only - right to left or left to right. Filing in both directions can break nails. Instead of using nail clippers, filing is a better way to achieve natural looking and smooth nail shapes. |
Step 2. Clean Cuticles |
If you clean up cuticles, it will make your nails look longer and easier for nail polish application. If you visit nail salons they will cleanly cut the cuticles with nippers but this can be dangerous to try at home. So for beginners, gently pushing back the cuticles using a nail pusher will make your nails looking cleaner. |
Apply some cuticle oil on the bottom edge of the nails to soften cuticles then using a pusher, gently push back the cuticles to achieve beautiful nails. |
Step 3. Keep your hands moisturised |
After cleaning cuticles, the final step is to moisturise. If your hands are too dry and rough use a scrub to massage the hands. If you soften the skin surface using a warm towel it will be more effective. Wash your hands and apply hand lotion. For extra moisturising effect, add some cuticle oil when applying hand lotion. |
